Prof. Matthias Kraume becomes coordinator of new Collaborative Research Centre: Integrated chemical processes in fluid multiphase systems (InPROMPT)

On November 17th 2009 the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) passed a new Transregional Collaborative Research Centre. Three Universities are involved: TU Berlin, TU Dortmund and Universität Magdeburg.

UniCat Senior Scientist Prof. Dr. Matthias Kraume becomes Coordinator of InPROMPT. In addition of Prof. Kraume, the UniCat scientist Prof. Anja Drews, Prof. Reinhard Schomäcker, Prof. Günter Wozny, Dr. Harvey Arellano-Garcia und Dr. Jens-Uwe Repke take part in the new research project.


 

Collaborative Research Centres are funding grants of Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG; German Research Foundation). Collaborative Research Centres are long-term university research centres in which scientists and researchers work together within a cross-disciplinary research programme. CRCs are located at a single university.

A special form of CRC is a Transregional Collaborative Research Centres (TRR). They are generally based at up to three universities.
