Helmut Schwarz has been elected member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences
The American Academy of Arts and Sciences elected 17 new Foreign Honorary Members. They include: Helmut Schwarz, President of Germany’s Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and Member of UniCat.The new class will be inducted at a ceremony on October 6, at the Academy’s headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Honorary doctorate for Helmut Schwarz
Yesterday, The Academic Senate of Kliment Ochridski University Sofia in Bulgaria decidet to honour Helmut Schwarz, UniCat professor at TU Berlin and president of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation by a Honorary doctorate. Following an apprenticeship as Chemical Laboratory Assistant with Dynamit Nobel in Troisdorf from 1966 to 1971, Schwarz studied Chemistry at the TU Berlin.
