Within UniCat, chemists, physicists, biologists, and engineers of four universities and two Max Planck Research Institutes collaborate across disciplines and across institutional boundaries.

UniCat has got approximately 250 members working in about 50 research groups which are headed by a full professor or a junior scientist. Each of them has its own UniCat webpage. These webpages are grouped around the Core Team which is supplemented by the Support Team, Senior Scientists, and the Central Services. For Principal Investigators of the Core team see below.

”Einstein Visiting Fellows" are a long-term partner for the science and research community in Berlin funded by the Einstein Foundation Berlin. The UniCat Office team supports the Chair, the Executive Boards, and all cluster members.
