Sebastian Krackel performs his research in the group of Prof. Driess. His talk was on "Molybdenum-based model systems for C-H activating catalysts".

Chika Inoue from Japan will write her PhD thesis at Prof. Drieß, too. Her research deals with synthesis, characterization and reactivity of novel transition metal complexes.

Battist Rabay will work at Prof. Thomas Braun' group (HU Berlin) on C-H activiation of alkanes in perfluorinated solvents.
Xenia Tuaev from Russia works on synthesis and in situ investigation of metal nanoparticle stability.
Nastaran Ranjabar Sahraie from Iran has chosen Prof. Strasser as supervisor. The title of her PhD project is: Catalysis of immobilized metal redox centers for solar energy conversion.
Mahmut Yildiz will perform research at Prof. Schomäcker's group on synthesis and characterization of catalysts for the oxidative coupling of methane.
Dipti Sankar Kundu from India will work at Prof. Blechert's group on: Substituted BINOL-derived organocatalysis.
Paramita Ray from India came to Berlin to Prof. Blechert after research visits in Australia and Spain. Her thesis will deal with heterogeneous organo catalysis.
Nibadita Purkait from India will do research on hydroamination and metathesis reaction.
Prof. Silke Leimkühler and Jonathan Heidkamp. He is physicist and will work at Prof. Dau's group (FU Berlin) on biomimetic catalysts of hydrogen formation using X-ray spectroscopy.
Mirja Krause spent 6 years in Finland and will perform her PhD at Prof. Neubauer's group on molybdo enzymes.
Jennifer Jaitzig has received the prestigeous HaVo fellowship. She also works at Prof. Neubauer's group. She gave a talk on: Valinomycin synthetase - heterologous overexpression, characterization and tailoring.
