Dr. Shigeyoshi Inoue develops novel catalysts within the framework of the research group of Prof. Matthias Driess
For the fifth time, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation is granting the Sofja Kovalevskaja Award, valued up to 1.65 million EUR, to young research talents, providing them with venture capital for innovative projects at an early stage in their careers.
One of the 18 award winners is Dr. Shigeyoshi Inoue from Japan. Since 2008 he has been working at Prof. Matthias Driess from the Institute of Chemistry of TU Berlin. Now, Inoue will set up a research group and spend five years working on research.
The award is given by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and financed by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The award ceremony will take place on the evening of 9 November in Berlin.
